Care for Parts and Exchange/Return Policy
Care instructions for the pieces:
Oxidation (a natural process of silver) can be delayed and the life of silver plating extended by taking the following precautions:
- Avoid contact with abrasive products or situations, especially cosmetics, detergents, or perfumes;
- Avoid other situations that cause excessive wear and tear, which occur especially with rings and bracelets;
- Store the pieces in appropriate, sealed packaging to prevent the natural oxidation of the silver;
- Pack the parts carefully to avoid friction, ensuring that the wires remain closed and separated from each other;
- Sweat and chlorine do not contribute to the durability of the garments;
- Clean polished pieces occasionally with a cloth specifically for silver, and for gold-plated pieces, use a cloth specifically for gold-plated silver. For matte pieces, it is best to apply a liquid cleaner specifically for silver or gold-plated silver. We recommend Hagerty cloths or liquids ( hagertyportugal.com ).
The durability of the plating depends on how carefully you use and maintain your pieces.
Over time, the bath will fade. Whenever necessary, we can provide a new bath for a fee.
Exchange and Return Policy:
The exchange period is 30 days after the purchase date. The item must be returned in its original box and in perfect condition, along with the exchange receipt (essential for exchange purposes).
If the customer is unable to go to the store, they must send us an email and we will handle the exchange process through that channel. In this case, the shipping costs for sending both the item to be exchanged and the new item will be the customer's responsibility.
Exchanges during the Christmas period are only accepted until January 10th.
Returns are not accepted, but exchanges for a voucher valid for 1 year are available.

Founded in Lisbon 18 years ago, at Maria Avillez Jewellery we design jewelry that inspires, enhances, and withstands the test of time. We want each piece to make you feel like the best version of yourself, every day.

MEET OUR FOUNDER
Born in Lisbon, but always dividing her time between the countryside and the city, Maria grew up surrounded by art and creativity. From an early age, she showed her own way of creating: with her hands, with instinct, and with a keen aesthetic sense.
She graduated in graphic design and lived in London and New York, where she continued to deepen her knowledge of design.
He entered the world of jewelry first as a hobby, for the pleasure of the manual work and the challenge it represented. Only later did he decide to transform this passion into a profession, with the goal of making a difference — distancing himself from traditional jewelry and establishing his own language of designer jewelry.
Passionate about travel and new cultures, she finds an inexhaustible source of inspiration in discovering the world . It is from this curiosity that her collections are born—jewels that are always current, created to inspire and accompany each person on their own journey.
Fascinated by large, striking pieces—which are part of her DNA and image—she also enjoys creating smaller, more versatile jewelry, perfect for everyday wear.
